Within an hour's drive of the Jalon Valley you will find at least fourteen 18-hole courses, some of which belong to the top of the world, developed by famous golfers such as Severiano Ballesteros, Jose Maria Olazabal or Jack Nicklaus.

The wide variation in the difficulty of the courses gives every player the chance to hit a nice ball. Víllaitana against the mountains near Benidorm is one of the best known in the area. Club de Golf Alenda, just west of Alicante, is very challenging and worth playing. A more recently opened course,  La Galiana Golf, requires a lower handicap but has impressive views. La Sella Golf is located near Denia, holds 3 times 9 holes and has recently been completely renovated.
